# Bazantic | APIs and Recipes for AI Agents

> Bazantic gives agents typed API tools and pay-per-call access without a provider API key.

A **service** is a provider API behind a Bazantic gateway. A **Recipe** is one task published as one MCP tool. Each Recipe uses **Ingredients**, which are tools from services on Bazantic. Priced calls use a network USD token. A service can also have free methods. A provider can use sandbox mode to test with Base Sepolia USDC.

Catalog, specification, agent-card, and `tools/list` reads are free. Get user approval before payment, upstream tool calls, or management changes.
