The Team Behind Bazantic
The founders spent years building and scaling one of the largest API layers on the internet. They watched AI make software accessible to people who had never written code — and watched those same people stop at the same wall: connecting what they made to the real data, services and systems their business runs on. Bazantic removes that wall.
EG Galano — CEO & Cofounder. Before Bazantic, EG cofounded Infura and led it for over eight years, growing it into the largest web3 infrastructure business in the world — at its peak serving roughly 70% of all Ethereum API traffic for more than 430,000 developers. Consensys acquired Infura in 2019. Earlier he was on the founding engineering team at Gaikai, acquired by Sony in 2012.
Tom Hay — CPO & Cofounder. Tom was a founding member of Consensys Academy, the developer education program with over 10,000 course completions from more than 90,000 enrollments, and ran Developer Relations at Consensys. He was then Head of Product for Infura's Decentralized Infrastructure Network. He holds an SB in Materials Science and Political Science from MIT.
